Terms & conditions.
Two short agreements cover everyone in a lid run: the local business buying the ad space, and the café partner whose lids carry it. By placing an order or confirming a partnership you accept the relevant set below.
For local businesses buying lid space
Client terms
01. Placement of your design
SipSpace will place your design on takeaway coffee cup lids at partner cafés, up to the lid count included in your selected package, over the course of one calendar month.
02. Design approval
All designs are reviewed before printing. We don't accept designs relating to gambling, vaping & tobacco, payday loans, adult content, or anything anti-local. If your design is rejected, we'll tell you why and you can resubmit — nothing is printed until an approved design is in place.
03. Recurring billing & cancellation
Your package renews monthly and bills automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your account; cancelling stops the next billing cycle but doesn't refund lids already placed or paid for.
04. Fulfilment report
A fulfilment report (lids placed, cafés used, scan data if applicable) is available at the end of each month.
05. Liability
SipSpace's liability is limited to the fees you paid in the month an issue occurred. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
For coffee shops partnering with SipSpace
Café partner terms
01. Sticker roll supplied free
SipSpace will supply a roll of pre-printed stickers featuring local businesses' approved designs, at no cost to you, to be applied to your takeaway lids as they're served for the duration of each campaign.
02. Brand-safe designs
All designs are reviewed by SipSpace before printing and never include gambling, vaping & tobacco, payday loans, adult content, or anything anti-local. You can ask us to pull any specific design at any time, no reason needed.
03. Revenue share
You'll receive 20% of the client price per lid served, paid monthly alongside a fulfilment summary.
04. Rolling partnership & ending it
This partnership runs on a rolling basis. Either you or SipSpace can end it with 14 days' notice from your account or by email — lids already in progress will still be fulfilled and paid for.
05. Liability
SipSpace's liability is limited to the revenue share owed to you for the month an issue occurred. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
These terms are provided for transparency before you enquire. A signed copy of the agreement relevant to you is confirmed at the point of order or partnership set-up.
